Ask For What Next
I’m going to take my own advice. I think it was episode 158 or 159 where I talked about a six-part series of how to stay in communication and how to stay in contact with your existing clients. It was step three or four of that process where I talked about releasing some form of a request for recommendations, a request for help or advice from your existing clients. I’m going to take my own advice. To understand this in detail, please download 158 or 159. Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to ask for help. I’m going to ask for steering the ship a little bit. You’re a reader of the show. Hopefully, you’ve read more than a couple. Some of you have binged and read every one of the 160 before this one, especially if you’ve heard 30 podcasts or more. Take two minutes and say, “If you don’t mind, if you have any knowledge of X, could you speak to this topic?” What would be great is if you could say, “Here’s who I am. Here’s the industry I’m in. List out what you believe your challenge to be and say, “If this was your challenge, what would you do? If you brought this to your consulting company, what would they recommend I do?” Most importantly, what I’m looking for is, what are some of the nuggets that you have not heard me speak of when it comes to growing a business? Is there something I’m missing? Is there some form of advertising like traditional, radio, print, internet marketing, pay-per-click, Facebook, Instagram, writing books or speaking from the stage? Is there something that I haven’t touched on? Knowing that we have 800 revenue-generating websites and 3,150 traditional clients since 1992 that we have coached and grown, especially knowing that our motto is, “We can grow any business in any industry at any time.” We believe that we stand by that.
